Kent is the Assurance Partner at AOGB Professional Services Group, which provides a full range of professional services including accounting, auditing, business consulting, advisory, regulatory compliance, and taxation.

Prior to joining AOGB, Kent served as the Head of Group Accounting and Finance for a listed conglomerate with over HK$40 billion in assets and diverse holdings in property development, hospitality, and gaming and entertainment. In this capacity, he directed the group’s financial strategy and executed numerous high-value transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate spin-offs, debt restructuring, and capital fundraising initiatives.

Kent’s earlier career included over a decade with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in China, where he was stationed in both the Hong Kong and Guangzhou offices. At Deloitte, he developed deep technical expertise in handling complex accounting and auditing matters, IPO preparations, cross-border fundraising, and internal control evaluations for a wide range of clients.

His extensive client portfolio encompasses state-owned enterprises and companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and Nasdaq. He has significant cross-industry experience, particularly in consumer retail, finance, e-commerce, life sciences, property development, manufacturing, telecommunications, and gaming.

Kent possesses in-depth knowledge of multiple financial reporting frameworks, including HKFRS and IFRS Accounting Standards, United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and Chinese Accounting Standards. He is also highly proficient with the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and Listing Rules.

Kent is a Certified Public Accountant of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
